| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the developmental epidemiology of traumatic events and posttraumatic stress (PTS) in children. Potentially traumatic events are common in the general population of children, although they do not often result in PTS symptoms. The prognosis after the first lifetime trauma exposure is generally favorable. Apart from PTS disorder, traumatic events are associated with many forms of psychopathology. |
