The article provides world news briefs for the week ending October 27, 1941. The German invasion of Russia has reached Moscow. A trade treaty was established with Argentina establishing tariff concessions on imported goods. The U.S. Supply, Priorities and Allocations Board has forbidden any new public or private construction jobs requiring appreciable amounts of building materials for which shortages exist, with exceptions for projects for defense or the health and safety of the people. |
