The article comments on the paper "Alprazolam and Exposure Alone and Combined in Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia: A Controlled Study in London and Toronto," by Isaac M. Marks and colleagues. The study is the largest clinical trial comparing the combination of a benzodiazepine and behavior therapy. It is also the first combined treatment trial to use alprazolam as the pharmacological agent. |
