The article presents the results of a study of phenelzine in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in 11 veterans of World War II or Vietnam. The study aims to extend the earlier reports and to utilize quantitative measures of drug effect. A description of the experimental setup and measurement method is given. It presents a chart showing the degree of observed and self-rated improvement at weeks 2, 4 and 6. The study's results showed promising effects of phenelzine in the treatment of PTSD. |
