Abstrakt: This article discusses aspects of the novel "Cosmopolis" by Don DeLillo. The author focuses on his contention that the novel examines the traditional notion that Europe represents the corruption of the old world while America stands for the virtue of the new. In addition the author examines DeLillo's conception of corruption and virtue.
