Abstrakt: | The article discusses a literature review on the relationship of anxiety and depression. The differentiation of anxiety states from depressive states in adults has been done through clinical items, rating scales, prognosis, treatment response and family history data. However, several issues such as the presence of mixed anxiety and depression patients, the high miss-classification rate and contradictory research findings suggest that there is no definite solution to the problem of how are they related. Various issues are in need of clarification and resolution, including replication of research findings and cross-validation of discriminate function coefficients. |
