The article examines the management of the established Off-Campus Housing Office at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The counselor to off-campus women has been created to supplement the services of the off-campus housing as well as to provide coordinating service between woman-off campus (WOC) population, householders, the dean of women, and director of housing. In addition, the counselor has assessed the need for and acceptance of a program in the interpretation of university policy to householders and householders' rental problems to students, personal counseling for WOC, and integration of group activities. |
