| Abstrakt: |
The article presents research which attempted to formulate a theory of psychiatric classification. The research focuses on the assessment of the taxonomic literature in several scientific fields. It also aims to discuss the implications of psychiatry classification for the discipline. The research found that the fundamental duality of psychiatry as a socially organized discipline and as a science is not a distinct problem to be solved by taxonomists, but a general issue which prevails in the entire field. |
