The article discusses the study which investigates the anticonvulsant properties of Tegretol (Carbamazepine). The subjects were 45 epileptics from Cranage Hall Hospital. They were divided into two groups, the Tegreto group for Tegretol medication and the control group for standard treatment. A data that identify the reduction of attack rates and show the effectiveness of two therapeutic processes is presented. The study found that Tegretol has an equivalent anticonvulsant reaction to phonabarbitone, sodium phenytoin, and mysoline. |
