The article cites the study which predicts the stability of pseudocholinesterase (Serum CH. E.) in subnormal and psychopathic offenders. It uses 65 physically healthy, unsedated male patients at Rampton Hospital. They were classified as subnormal, severely subnormal, or psychopathic with no known brain disorder. The researchers gather two samples of venous blood from the subjects and apply the autonomic galvanic skin response technique after the withdrawal of the blood. It concludes that Serum CH.E. values has significant relation with the severity of psychiatric disorder. |
