| Abstrakt: | An abstract of the study "Explanation in Obsessional Neurosis" is presented. The study explores the nature of obsessional symptom, particularly obsessional ritual. It states that most explanations of the obsessional ritual is based on the assumption that it is associated with compulsion accompanied by internal resistance. However, the study argues that such feeling is not associated with a symptom being obsessional. Moreover, it showed that obsessional ritual often increase anxiety. |
