Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study about the association between British television viewing and political centrism. The researchers investigated whether heavy television viewing influenced the centering of political opinions. They selected 1,256 people who had been eligible to vote in the 1983 General Election. Results confirm that heavy television viewers are more likely to place themselves in the Center rather than on the Left or Right. The political Center and its association to television is vital as a set of dispositions and propensities. |
