This section presents findings of several studies related to therapy. Researchers from Poland and the U.S. found that early abciximab prior to angioplasty improves treatment outcomes in patients with acute anterior wall ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. According to a phase II study, neoadjuvant docetaxel, vinorelbine and trastuzumab prior to surgery and adjuvant therapy is active in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 breast cancer. |
