| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the important elements of high definition (HD) theater, according to Craig Eggers of Dolby Laboratories and Tom Dixon of DTS. Eggers notes the new Dolby technologies available in the market including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. Eggers claims that Dolby Digital Plus provides full playback compatibility with over 50 million audio/visual (A/V) receivers that are equipped with Dolby Digital decoding. Dixon stresses that DTS-HD Master Audio is an extension of its DTS Coherent Acoustics technology. |
