The article reports on the lack of funding for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA)Critical Path Initiative. The initiative is part of the agency's efforts to improve the process of drug discovery and approval. The article reports on the concern of experts that a lack of funding could substantially slow the effort to speed up the drug pipeline. Despite the lack of funding for the initiative, the FDA has been able to move forward by partnering with outside groups. |
