The article offers information on "Sisimpur" Rural Filmmaker's Project, an initiative launched in Bangladesh in an effort to offer insight about the value of youth-driven media. The initiative was designed on the basis of the belief that media-making can be a tool for youth empowerment. "Sisimpur" is the Bangladesh adaptation of the television program "Sesame Street." Throughout the project, participants were trained in various filmmaking procedures. Its outcome depicts the benefits of media training for young people. |
