Perinatal mortality: magnetic resonance imaging and autopsy compared in a multiethnic population.

Abstrakt: The article presents abstract related to the significance of magnetic resonance imaging and autopsy compared in a multiethnic population in a perinatal mortality. Diagnostic studies revealing the cause of death in fetal and neonatal death are important for genetic counselling of the parents. Perinatal autopsy reveals in about 50 percent of cases more information about the cause of death. Such conclude that finding alternatives for autopsy seem useful.
