Abstrakt:	The article presents a letter from French researchers discussing their study on septic shock in heparin-induced thrombocytopenia in a 64-year-old man who received prophylactic subcutaneous unfractionated heparin therapy after hip replacement. The researchers concluded that doctors should consider the possibility of adrenal insufficiency induced by bilateral adrenal necrosis in patients experiencing shock of unclear origin.
