The article comments on the paper by Walker Shields' "The Subjective Experience of the Self in the Large Group: Two Models for Study." The study discusses the importance of feeling able to interact as an individual with other individuals on equal terms, and reflects the needs of the personal self. According to the author, the paper is a valuable comparison of two models thought to be independent and separate. |
