| Abstrakt: | The article presents an overview of two research studies related to breast cancer in Japanese women conducted by a research group at the National Cancer Center in Chiba, Japan. The two studies are concerned about the application of a structured group intervention with Japanese breast cancer patients following surgery. The team uses a program to promote an active coping style and greater psychological health among cancer survivors. The results of the two studies are discussed. |
