The article presents information related to the violent behavior shown by Lisa Marie Nowak, NASA astronaut, toward her romantic rival Colleen Shipman, U.S. Air Force captain. She was arrested for allegedly attacking Shipman, who had a relationship with an astronaut William Oefetein. Nowak had developed a relationship with Oefetein after she separated from her husband of 19 years. James Hollis, psychoanalyst at the Jung Educational Center of Houston, considers it a case of obsessive love. |
