Abstrakt: | A design procedure of an imaging grating monochromator for the photon energy range from 3 to 8 keV is described. The mutual optimization of the toroidal grating with varied line spacing and of the monochromator configuration results in a theoretical resolving power of more than 1000. A significant improvement by more than a factor of 10 is achieved by changing the long toroidal radius with the photon energy by bending the substrate. © 2007 American Institute of Physics [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
