Abstrakt:	The author proposes that teaching students computational skills is not sufficient preparation for meaningful application of mathematics. Exploration and creative application are needed in order to appreciate mathematics and develop mathematical talent, especially with gifted and talented students. The author reviews existing literature on this topic, tries to understand creative students of mathematics, and presents the teaching implications of creativity in mathematics.
