The article presents several awards presented to various people by the International Association for Plant Taxonomy. The association has presented the Engler Medal in Silver for 2004 to co-authors John T. Mickel and Alan R. Smith for book "The Pteridophytes of Mexico." The Stebbins Medal for 2005 has been awarded to Douglas E. Soltis, Pamela S. Soltis, Peter K. Endress and Mark W. Chase for their outstanding book on plant systematics. Eric Schuettpelz was given the Lawrence Memorial Award 2006. |
