Abstrakt: The article shares insights on various issues concerning the relevance of bioethics to the practicing clinician. The authors assert that the practicing clinician should acquire an acceptable level of familiarity and competence in bioethics because issues, like informed consent, can be encountered in all fields of practice. Clinicians may also encounter difficult ethical issues that involve a conflict of obligations or principles.
