Abstrakt: The article presents an abstract of the study titled "Structure and Function of Hippocampal and Entorhinal Synapses in Memory-impaired Transgenic Mice Expressing Mutant Amyloid Precursor Protein." The study concludes that some discreet structural abnormalities in synapses develop as mice age. The paper will be presented during the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry, in New Orleans, Louisiana, from March 14-17, 1999.
