The article reports on the case of a 3-month old boy with rashes and lumpy swelling in the right inguinal area along with a fever and macular rash. A detailed description of the results of the physical examination is given as well as the results of laboratory studies and other types of tests. Proposed diagnosis and prognosis are discussed. A commentary is offered on the possible implications of the case on nurse practitioners. |
