The article offers information on the history of the Division of Otolaryngology of the University of Alberta (UA) in Edmonton, Canada. Physician R. B. Wells was appointed as the first director of the Division of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Department of Surgery, UA in 1913. Other university officials who made significant contributions to the development of otolaryngology are physicians C. V. Jamieson and Mark R. Marshall. |
