Abstrakt:	An abstract of the article "Interleukin-1 Enhances NREM Sleep in Adult, But Not in Old (25-27 Months) Fisher Rats," by L. Imen, P. Ceccarelli, and M. Mariotti is presented. The author presents a study which investigates sleep and febrile responses caused by interleukin-1 in young, adult, and old rats. The result of the study showed that, sleep responses to an immune challenge is affected by aging.
