Abstrakt: The article presents a series of case studies on spontaneous ovarian bleeding in patients with congenital coagulopathy associated with von Willebrand's disease, a heridatory disorder caused by deficiency or defect of von Willbrand factor (VWF.) Endothelial cells and mega-karyocytes synthesizes the VWF and circulates in plasma as a high molecular weight glycoprotein. Affected women tend to bruise easily and usually have heavy periods, which responds to medical treatment.
