The article focuses on the development of bibliographic databases appropriate for art historical research. It cites the elements of an electronically produced citation including the author, title and descriptors. It explains the difference in approach to bibliographic research between hard sciences and art history. It proposes a model that can help explain the function of evidence in the discipline of art history. |
