The article presents the highlights of the 22nd Annual Conference of the Art Libraries Society of North America held in Providence, Rhode Island on February 11-16, 1994. More than 500 participants attended despite the storm. Informal sessions on collection evaluation and electronic literacy, stress management workshop and hands-on session on preservation were organized for the event. Architectural historian William McKenzie Woodward discussed the historic libraries in Rhode Island. |
