| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses about the indicator eXchange format (IXF) protocol which addresses the needs of indicator gathering, analysis and mapping systems. Addressed in a workshop in November 2003 in Geneva, Switzerland the exchange of georeferenced indicator has been standardized through the use of IXF. The IXF system also decreases cases of redundancy and inconsistencies in other geographic integration systems. The integration of IXF into several information systems like the Country Response Information System is discussed. |
