The article discusses the initiative of a training program for emergency planning teams in the National Health Service of Great Britain in 2006. With the terrorist attacks in the U.S. and the bombings in London, England the importance of devising robust national and local emergency plans has been identified. These plans must be put into practice as included in the National Health Service Emergency Planning Guidance which makes recommendations on training standards. |
