Permanent monocular blindness and ocular migraine.

Abstrakt: The article presents information on a medical case wherein the subject develops permanent blindness in one eye owing to ocular or retinal migraine. Ocular or retinal migraine is a rare form of migraine which leads to erratic on and off occurrences of headache. The subject is a 48-year-old woman who had a 24-hour history of loss of vision in her right eye without pain. She also complained of regular ocular migraine attacks in her right eye since she was 14 years old.
