Pregnancy assisted by nasal intermittent positive pressure ventilation in a patient with cystic fibrosis.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study involving a woman with cystic fibrosis during pregnancy. At 12 weeks' gestation, she developed respiratory exacerbation. At 21 weeks' gestation, she suffered from a spontaneous tension pneumothorax. Despite the patient having cystic fibrosis, her child was normal. After the delivery, she developed severe electrolyte imbalance. Finally, the patient's pneumothorax was treated in a conventional way.
