The article discusses some of the primary physiological constructs of biofeedback (BFB), and the functional aspects of using it in the clinical setting. The special problems linked to studies in stroke rehabilitation are examined with a special focus on BFB. It is observed that despite the huge number of clinical trials and other scientific data, there is still insufficient evidence on the efficacy of BFB for stroke rehabilitation. |
