The article cites a study related to breast cancer treatment and survival among women with disabilities in the U.S. The purpose of the study is to see whether women with breast cancer and disabilities are treated differently from and live as long as those without disabilities. Here, researchers used two databases to identify women who were receiving disability benefits when localized breast cancer was diagnosed. |
