| Abstrakt: | The article critically evaluates the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute's (HURI) new edition of the Povest' vremennykh let. Roman Krivko compares transcription of the Lurentian MS copy and Laurentian copy of the Radziwill MS copy with E.F. Karskii's edition of the Laurentian Chronicle. Karskii's edition was criticized for being difficult to use due to unexpanded abbreviations and not enough paleographic peculiarities. Roman Krivko finds HURI transcription better than that of Karskii's. |
