The article profiles French physician Joseph Ignace Guillotin and discusses his contributions to the field of medicine. Guillotin worked on many public health issues and presented reports on vinegar and rabies. He was elected as a deputy from Paris, France to the French National Assembly in Spring of 1789 and a member of the Poverty Committee to help poor people. He died on March 26, 1814. |
