The article focuses on peripheral neuropathy as a process that involved sensory and motor nerves and discusses the most common diffuse neuropathies. It states that pheripheral neuropathy was the most popular neurologic disease of the old. It is frequently associated with other systemic illness like diabetes, refsum disease and AIDS. In addition, the causes of neuropathy which includes acute trauma and collagen vascular diseases and the possible causes of neuropathy are discussed. |
