| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the benefits of anticoagulants in the treatment of pulmonary embolism. The effects of heparin, the mainstay of treatment, and its hazards in treating pulmonary embolism are discussed. It was found that anticoagulants such as warfarin prevents the recurrence of pulmonary embolism but with consideration on the hazards of treatment. |
