| Abstrakt: |
The article examines a single mass closure of major laparotomies by continuous suturing. Surgeons usually put interrupted sutures of non-absorbable monofilament material. The used of continuous deep-bite mass sutures in 305 consecutive patients shows satisfactory results. 26 incisonal hernias were detected within six months of operation. |
