| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the effect of aqueous stem bark extract of Boswellia dalzielii, through its chemical content and toxicity component, in albino rats. It was found out that the extract did not produce any lethality among the tested animals and no changes in their packed cell volume and red blood cell counts. These imply that the risk of toxicity can be attributed to the prolonged oral administration of very high doses of the plant's extract. |
