The article comments on the lack of preparatory mathematics training in some schools in the U.S. According to the author, many high school graduate enter colleges without appropriate knowledge in mathematics. He states that school systems must make certain improvements in their instruction so that boys and girls will be good in mathematics before they enter college. |
