| Abstrakt: |
The article evaluates the feasibility of using optical coherence tomography (OCT) for determining airway pathology in a rabbit. It was found that the airway mucosal thickening in the experimental group is consistent with tracheal edema. Morphologic changes are also noted in regions of the experimental tracheas. OCT is found to be a valuable imaging modality that is capable of assessing superficial airway pathology. |
