This article offers a look at the political scene in Croatia in 2006. Information is presented on the public support surrounding Croatia's main political parties. The investigation facing independent member of parliament and Osijek City Council President Branimir Glavas regarding his role in suspected war crimes against Serb civilians in 1991 is discussed. The long-term development plan for Croatia's armed forces is explored, as well as progress made by Croatia regarding its European Union membership. |
