This article presents reports concerning issues and developments on neutron research, as of November 2006. Production of neutrons by the Spallation Neutron Source took place at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on April 28. Announcement of the 2006 recipient of the Clifford G. Shull Prize in Neutron Science by the Neutron Scattering Society of America. An inauguration symposium was conducted by Forschungszentrum Jülich for its Jülich Center for Neutron Science from February 16 to 17. |
