Abstrakt: The article discusses various issues concerning science education for teachers. The article specifically refers to several studies on science teachers' personality, the effects of teachers' classroom behaviors and the eventual classroom performance of science teachers. A study in 1967 revealed that teachers' classroom behavior patterns changed during the student teaching process. Another study in 1968 suggested that nonverbal behaviors may contribute a much greater proportion of the total teaching behavior than earlier studies indicated.
