Abstrakt: The article discusses surgical management of erectile dysfunction by arterial, venous or possibly by prosthetic means. It reveals concerns in the early days of surgery for erectile disorders. The use of intracorporeal vasodilators is the most useful advance from the surgeon's point of view. One method of trying to assess the degree of arterial inflow is by duplex scanning. It explains the advantages and disadvantages of penile implants.
